Robbed

The cardinals seriously got robbed of a win and a sweep. The cards went on a hot streak after they lost to the cubs 17-5, and were on a 4 game winning streak. Trevor Rosenthal, the cards closer, got the bases loaded with 2 outs. After he got a full count on the last batter he threw a ball on the bottom corner of the strike zone  the ump called the clear strike a ball, and that scored in a run. After that Carlos Martinez allowed a base hit which gave the lead to the braves. The cards got the lose. What I seriously don't get is that we cant challenge a pitch, yet we can challenge anything else in the game. I really wasn't happy at the end, but now the cards get to face the Diamondbacks who are 18-28.

Everything going downhill

Well the blues and the hawks both got eliminated from the playoff, and the Cardinals are not doing so well. The Cardinals are 20-20, but are playing poorly compared to last year. Our offense is starting to actually score runs now, but now our pitching cant do the job. Our starters cant go innings, and Trevor Rosenthal can't close a game out without making me have a heart attack. On a brighter side I've recently got into a new show. I started watching a British TV show called Dr. Who. I am also taking a deep interest in golf, and I'm doing very good so far. I'm taking lessons up at golf smith, and I am hoping to make the golf team.

What I want the world to know

I just want everyone to know that I think that the godfather trilogy is overrated. Don't get me wrong they are all really good, but best movies of all time. I don't think so. I also would like to share my hate for the Patriots. If they wouldn't of cheated in the 2001 super bowl the rams would have two rings. I also don't like the red sox, Yankees(except without a rod), the Blackhawks, red wings, all teams in NL central, heat, clippers, and every Cincinnati sports team.

Sports update

Playoffs have started in the NHL and NBA. Blues are facing the Blackhawks, and the blues are playing decent but need to win tomorrow badly. The series is tied up at two and Vladimir Tarencinco has 4 goals in the series. The Hawks are tied with the Pacers with each team having only one win, and the series will be taken to Atlanta's home court. Jeff Teague started off good with 28 points his first game, which they won. The cards are playing decent but have no offense.

Abe was the most powerful of any of the robots.  After he got hit with a car his system went berserk, and he then went on a murderous rampage. Cardinals Update Again

Cardinals are doing good right now. At a record of 5 and 4 they are in 3rd place in the central right now. Wacha, and Wainwright are to fantastic starts as well as Matt Adams and Kolten Wong. We have had very little offensive posting up runs lately which isn't our selves. We did lead the national league in runs scored. Shelby Miller if off to a cold start as well losing his first two games, but Lance Lynn, despite an atrocious ERA has racked up 2 wins already. We start our series with the cubs tomorrow.

Cardinal season is finally here and were having a pretty good start. Wainwright and Wacha are starting out brilliantly both combining for 13 innings and no runs aloud. Another played who's having a good start is Kolten Wong who is 2 for 6 with a double and a pair of walks. Yadi is also having a decent start with the only cardinal run. The downside being that their two starters are doing just as good as ours. Our offense has been terrible, but so has theirs. We have more strikeout, but more errors. Speaking of baseball, the Yankees are off to a terrible start losing twice to the Astros who have had the worst record in baseball the past 3 years.

First you need to go to your nearest store and buy a sled, boots, heavy coat, and if you want a sock cap. Let your kid go outside and do whatever they want. Make some hot cocoa if you want, and if your bored go out too. If that doesn't seem to work, then go out to someplace kids love to go to like toys r us. If all else fails then just turn on a movie or TV, and let them watch what ever they want. Heck they can just play on their Xbox or ps3 if they want to.

blues update

Right now the blues are doing fantastic, and I have a feeling this is their year. They are ranked first in the NHL, and were in the top 3 in defense. The trade we made mid season to get Ryan miller for Halak is proving to be a wonderful trade as he has only lost against the Flyers and Blackhawks during his run. TJ is looking good, and so is everyone else. I hope this is our year because, despite making the playoffs 38 out 46 years, we have no Stanley cup. This includes our first 3 years where we lost 3 straight. Pretty sad, but I still love my blues. Getting off topic, but the Bilikens recently got eliminated from the NCAA tournament which is disappointing but im not torn up about it.

Cardinals update

3-run homer lifts Dodgers over St. Louis

The Cardinals are showing tons of promise. Little Pedro ( Carlos Martinez) is having an unbelievable spring training as well as Kelly and Kolten Wong too. At 10 and 10 the cardinals don't have the best record, but spring doesn't really matter. A  game or two ago Holliday, Adams, and Peralta all blasted a homerun, and Kelly threw a no hitter going into the 6th where he exploded. I haven't heard much from Wacha except he allowed 2 runs in 7 innings his last start, and I haven't heard from peter bourgeois at all. Overall the Cardinals look like they are going to tear up the NL.

For once I am not going to talk about baseball, but I will talk NBA. It may seem weird but I am a Atlanta hawks fan. I only say that because most people around Missouri cheer for the bulls, and I hate the bulls. Anyway, for some reason I have always been attracted to the hawks. Maybe its their players, the logo, or even the fact that they have played for St. Louis at one point and won their only NBA championship their. Right now they 31-35 which may not seem that good but their hanging on to their playoff spot. They are fending off the Knicks for the last spot, but I am worried because they are playing some tough teams down the road, and the Knicks are hot. Either way ill be a hawks fan for awhile unless they start to really suck which

Pride

Pride is a very solid flic. Ill start with the good stuff. It has a pretty interesting story, had a good sound track, and its pacing is great. Our main character(Jim Ellis) is done very well by showing a hard working man finally get his chance to shine, and his relationship with all the boys and the guy who owns the school are also done well. What I also find surprising is while it is a underdog story, which I am sick of, its done in a way that makes it feel new, and not boring. The best part of the flic though is how big of a heart it has. Alright lets get to the bad stuff. Aside from the main character, a lot of the characters are not too interesting, except for Andre and his sister, but you cant blame them cause they have so many. That gangster story line isn't done very well, and the movie could of been the same without it. Its also pretty predictable what's going to happen at the end, but it had a very good ending. Overall, this is one of the better sports movies out there, and I am surprised that this movie is never really talked about because this is better than a lot of other sports movies, and didn't fall into typical sport movie traps. Overall I am very glad I saw it.

Worst things you can do to a Child

You can do a lot of wrong to a child. Probably the worst you can do is beat them constantly which is depressing. Another is just not caring at all. A good example of this is Adrian Peterson who let his child get beat to death by his psychotic brother. Very, very, sad. Those are the only two to come to my head at this moment. A bad parent is one who doesn't care what happens to his or her child.

Cardinals update

The Cardinals are doing decent so far in spring training partially due Johnny Peraltas outstanding power, he is showing a lot of promise. Even if its only spring training, which doesn't really matter, I do like to see my redbirds winning. They lost to Miami twice, beat Boston, beat Philadelphia, and lost to the Colorado I think. As I said Johnny Peralta is showing lots of talent in the hitting department hitting two homeruns in one game and two doubles in the next despite being a shortstop. Our prospects have been showing some good talent also, well our hitting prospects.

BASEBALL!!!!

I am so pumped up for tomorrow because the best time of the year is starting. Baseball season, at least for the cardinals. There is so much to look forward to this season whether its Peter Bourgeist, Michael Wacha, potentially Oscar Taveras if there's a spot in the outfield, and its pretty obvious we will win the division this year. All the experts are saying we are at least. Even if it is only spring training I am so pumped up for the regular season. I am most exited to see Wacha this year. He beat the best pitcher in baseball twice in the playoffs won two elimination games. Enough said.

If I had this weird iPhone for a day I would delete all its apps, and download a bunch of games and play them all day. I'd also watch YouTube and watch a movie or two. Preferably back to the future and its sequels. If I couldn't delete any of its apps I'd spend all day figuring what each app does.

Opinion on Coding

Overall I liked the coding things we have been doing. They are challenging, but they were boring at times. Like I said they are more challenging then normal homework which is too easy, and it was a lot more fun then coping down stuff onto a piece of paper as homework. It did get very boring the last couple days, but that's fine considering class did go by very fast during the day. While I liked it I don't think I would do it again except occasionally on days we arn't doing anything, but i'm glad we did it.

I will never forget the good times I have had with friends. Day after day I would have my four best friends over and we would play xbox, sports, and sometimes watch sports. Typical 8th grade boy stuff. Its probably been the one of the most fun school years I've had. Something weird and interesting happens everyday.

Lets start in 1969 tons of oil that changed the nation was found at you guessed it, Norway. Instead of laying down taxes, they decided they are going to store the money for the future, and it payed off at the end because now they got about 800 million big bucks in the government. America probably doesn't have the money because we got so many more citizens in America. There called paper millionaires because they are not exactly millionaires. I think its interesting that something like this is actually possible but the article was a bit short and takes a couple of times to know what its saying.

Verruckt

What exactly is the Verruct waterslide. Jeff Henry designed a new roller coaster in Kansas city Missouri known of coarse a the Verruct which is insane in German, and is supposed to be the largest water slide in the world surpassing Brazils Insano which is at 14 stories high. This water fall is supposed to take you up to speeds at 65mph. I'm really exited for this, personally I like water slides way more than I will ever like rollercoasters. For some odd reason I cant ride the Mr. freeze but I'm not afraid of some 17 story high water slide. I guess I'm weird about that stuff. Its no wonder Jeff's nick names is the water wizard.

Mini windmills?

Jung Chih Chiao has come up with a brand new Idea charge or power electronical devices. So heres how he will do it, he will take a hundred or so windmills,(apparently so small that 10 can fit on a grain of rice)and use it to power a phone if the phones dead or almost dead. Never really explained how it charges the phone but oh well. I think its cool idea but i'm not sure how useful it can be considering its recommended for emergency's. It can only do its job in a emergency like a single text which by the way how many of those do you have. I don't know about you but I like to play on my phones and my ps vita for along time. I can understand that it is still in the works though and I cant have every thing I want out of this.
